Who are we?

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an international organization of Roman Catholic lay men and women of all ages, whose primary mission is to help the poor and less fortunate, which is a way of serving Christ.  Through its daily commitment, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a constant reminder to the church of its vocation to show Christ's preferential love for the poor.

The St. Vincent de Paul Society is a vibrant and essential part of the church community dedicated to helping the poor and enhancing the spirituality of its members.

Outreach

• Emergency Food Pantry (see client meeting hours below).  Individuals in need receive groceries sufficient to feed themselves and their families for three (3) to four (4) days.

• Financial Assistance (please bring proof of need)

  • Utilities payment assistance (Electric, Gas, Water/Sewer)

  • Rent/Housing

  • Medication

Meeting Schedule

• Members attend regular business meetings the third (3rd) Saturday of every month at 8:30 a.m. in the Church basement.

• Members meet with clients on a rotating basis in the Parish Office (Monday's and Thursday's of each week from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. - excluding holidays)

Items Needed for Emergency Food Pantry

Please place any items to be donated in the "Red Bins" located in the Church Entrances before or after scheduled masses.  If you wish to make a donation outside of this schedule, please call the Parish Office (330) 336-3049 to arrange assistance.  The following items are ideal for creating a 3-day meal plan:

• Canned Fruits

• Canned Vegetables

• Pork & Beans/Beef Stew/Canned Meat/Tuna

• Canned Soup

• Can/Jar of Pasta Sauce

• Cans of Chili/Ravioli/Spaghetti

• Pasta/Macaroni & Cheese

• Packages of Potatoes/Rice

• Jars of Peanut Butter/Jelly

• Boxes of Cereal
