“Meet the Coordinator of Youth Ministry” Night –
September 10th – Humbolt House
Our opening event this fall was “Meet the Coordinator of
Youth Ministry” Night! A large crowd was on hand to
find out more about the new youth ministry coordinator,
Pete Schafer, and find out what youth group was all
about! After Pete shared alittle about himself, youth
group members performed awesome skits showing what was
done in youth group last year. And to top off the
night, there were yummy ice cream sundaes and an
opportunity to mingle at the end of the evening. What a
great start to the year!

Meeting – God’s Presence & the Moon – September 24th
– Humbolt House
Some people
think youth groups are boring and no fun. But not
Sacred Heart Youth Group. You get to know kids from
different high schools but that share the same faith as
you. At our first meeting it was nothing other then
crazycrazycrazy. We had a really sweet sheet that we
had to get filled out finding someone who....did
something spectacular. or who went to an indians game
this summer. etc. etc. Pete said oh his fact sheet that
we received that he will eat anything... so Josh made a
scrumptious blended milkshake including sardines, spam
and many other goodies. They raced to see who could
chug it fastest and of course, PeterCottontailSchafer
won! There was of course praise and worship and a heart
to heart talk after. Following youth group there was
really great snacks for us kids. It was a lot of fun and
